How does the idle mechanic work?
Crops grow and kitchens cook automatically over real time, whether or not the tab is open. When you return, offline progress is calculated and applied instantly.
Will it affect my browser performance?
Fluffy Town only runs when the new tab is open and in focus. It has no impact on other tabs or pages you browse.
Is my progress saved?
Yes. Your town is saved automatically using Chrome's local storage. It persists as long as you keep the extension installed.
